LNTC
Acronym: Learn Not To Care. Attitude adopted by people who are frustrated with the ineptitude or fickleness of those in power. Adoption of this attitude reduces frustration by soothing the tormented soul that deliriously thought that complete requirements, thorough specifications, good communication, and understanding management existed.
Example:
ncloud: “Dude, the database is a mess, the specifications suck, management won’t tell me what’s going on–this project will never get done!”
basher: “Chill dude. Remember, LNTC.”
ncloud: “I need more coffee…”
with words!
Might this also apply to a wee sixteen year old boy flipping out about the total ineptitude and all-around suckitude of public education? If so, you should remember it for the next time he does that.
Nick, WHERE’S MY WEBSITE?!!! If I throw some art together, can you make it look awesome?! I KNOW YOU CAN! YOU PROMISED TO!!! I WANT ONE! (oh, about ineptitude… NEVER. EVER. EVER. try to direct a freshman video project. EVER.)
Got your URL from your dad this morning. In all your reading did you ever read “Reaching for the Invisible God” – what can we expect to find, by Philip Yancey? If so, what did you think?
