Happy Birthday, Linux!

Linux was officially 15 years old yesterday (Aug. 25th). Linus Torvalds announced his brainchild on usenet on Sun, Aug 25 1991 4:57 pm. You can read the original post here.

For those of you who don’t think this is important, consider the following fact: the internet would not exist as it does today if Linux had not been created, since over 60% of all web servers run a Linux/Unix variant and host their websites on the Apache web server. So booya!
